On my mind ...

This is a Friday photo feature that anyone with a blog can join. It opens the door to us sharing our lives through these photos and gives us all a new way to discover each other, and maybe form new friendships. Your photo should show something at home that you're thinking about TODAY. If you're in another country you should join in when you read this, even if it's still Thursday.

To take part, all you have to do is post a photo, write a short caption explaining it, and link it back to here. Please write a new post, don't link to an older one. When your photo is published, come back and add a comment below, with a link to your blog photo. Please visit all the blogs that appeal to you and leave a comment. If you are wondering why no one has commented on your On my mind post, maybe it's because you haven't commented on anyone else's. Slow down, take the time to cruise around and enjoy your cyber visits.

Today I'll be in my work room, sewing. Yesterday I put away these trims and pieces of wool felt I bought when I was visiting down south, today I'll be making aprons and table runners. I've been thinking about this for a while because I want to create stock for my little blog shop. One of the aprons I make today will be a prize at the forum, the rest for the shop. I wonder what you'll be doing.

  5. Hello ladies!

Veronica, you write a post on your own blog about what is on your mind, then come back here and leave the link to it. By leaving the link here, readers who come along later have the opportunity to visit you.

  26. it's getting closer to bedtime Thursday evening, but in the morn, I hope to make some cherry jam. There are ripening cherries on the trees outside, so it's high time I used up what was frozen from last year's picking. This'll be the first time I try to make something other than "freezer jam." wish me luck!

  38. Today, we (my 15 yo & 12 yo boys & I) are meeting with a gaggle of homeschool friends at the park. It is a lovely spring day in Oregon! After that, we will make our weekly library visit and grocery shopping stops.
Since it is about 30 miles into the city, we try to make the trip really "count" by packing the day with fun and errands.

  39. oh, and I forgot to mention, tonight is Sewing Sessions with my homies (homeschool moms). We meet at my church, bringing our latest projects, portable sewing machines, mending, etc. It is so wonderful to work on projects without little hands getting in the way, fun chatting with adults!, nibbling on pot-luck suppers, sharing pots of tea.... lovely.
We schedule it for once a month and look forward to it.

  40. Jenny, I love the idea of your sewing sessions. What a wonderful way to socialise as well as give and receive support and encouragement from other mums.
