"I love my kitchen - I designed it myself (I used to work as a Kitchen Designer) so everything is just how I wanted it. My sink looks into our family room and out to the vegetable garden. And the main orientation from the kitchen, when I'm preparing food, is outside. We've been in this home for over 4 years now and my kitchen still makes me so very happy."

Please don't forget to comment. A comment is like payment for the time taken to post, and in this case in sending in the photos. Many of us were enthusiastic about this series, so make sure all the photos get a good number of comments. I don't want any of the people sending in photos to regret joining in. Thank you friends.
PLEASE NOTE: I am not accepting any more kitchen sink photos. After I have gone through those I still have, I'll start another pictorial type of post that you can be involved in.
What a beautiful kitchen! I love that teal color! So nice to see a post from the other side of the globe!
ReplyDeleteYou design very well!! Fabulous kitchen!!
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous cabinets! I like the design of this, so that the person washing dishes isn't locked away from the fun - great idea!
ReplyDeleteNow that my kitchen is open to our dining/living rooms it is so great! I love this feeling of being part of the action and with my family even when I'm working in the kitchen - just like this kitchen and its wonderful open layout!

ReplyDeleteI want to thank you so very much for doing the kitchens pictorial. It has been very educational and inspirational. Perhaps when the day comes for us to move to a place where I can have a proper kitchen, I will be better prepared to create or organize it. --Red

ReplyDeleteLibby, love the clour it is so nice and different from most the blues we see,it looks so fresh and welcoming.Great job,how lucky to have all the knowledge of kitchens that everything could be placed exactly how you wanted it.
ReplyDeleteI love love love the gray/blue color. That's the color I painted my bathroom, and when I lay in my white clawfoot bathtub, It feels absolutely serene. A lot of people would think serenity wouldn't come from a deeper color like that, but I think it's the most relaxing color!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely kitchen. Nice colours, too. And is that a material on the benches/surrounding the sink called Corian?
ReplyDeleteTracy (Brisbane)

ReplyDeleteFantastic Kitchen - Love the gadget cupboard, we had one in our last kitchen which I miss. I love the way the kitchen is the hub of the house and that you have a good view of outside and especially that the vege garden is handy to the kitchen is a bonus. Lorraine
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous kitchen! I love it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a very nice color. It reminds me of water. It is just a beautiful place to work. To me kitchen duty is not 'work' it is something I do for our family.
ReplyDeleteThank you for this series on kitchens. I love to look at people's home. It gives me an idea of a person's personality.
I like a comfortable, lived in, tidy home. These have all been just that kind of kitchens, from all over the world..women are amazing.

What a lovely, efficient and spacious kitchen. You've done a fabulous job! I like the clean, crisp look and cool color. I'd love to cook in your kitchen...
ReplyDeleteI love the colors and the clean lines. Fabulous!
ReplyDeleteOur kitchen sink looks into our family room as well. I do enjoy it, but I think I want my next one to look out a window. :)
What a great kitchen! There are things I see in this pic that I've missed before when reading your blog. My kitchen sink looks at a wall - such a horrible idea when there's a million dollar view on the other side of the wall! One day, when you help me re-design my kitchen.... ;)
