Rhonda and Hanno, as well as her sister Tricia, are busy preparing for Shane and Sarndra's wedding, so there will be no new post from Rhonda for the next few days. I am sure all of you want to send best wishes for a long and wonderful life together to Shane and Sarndra. Leave a comment below for them to read together after the festivities are over (a very long distance e-wedding card, so to speak)! Hugs to all, Sharon
Hello all- I am happy to report that so far we only have a handful of ladies who did not receive their parcels. It is the best we have ever done! The swap buddies who failed to send their parcel will not be allowed to swap again. That may sound mean, but really, one must be sure to live up to their obligations-just as we teach our children to take responsiblity for their actions. I had meant to pair up swappers with their swap angels today, but it turned out to be a very odd day and my toe ended up having a disagreement with a large, heavy falling object and lost-I am off to bed with a broken toe (having done this before-can you say KLUTZ- I know that you really can't do anything about it, either) and some Tylenol. I shall pair each buddy and angel up tomorrow and a big hug and thanks to our swap angels, who will be listed tomorrow.
Charlene, could you e-mail me (Sharon) at cdetroyes at yahoo dot com so that I can get you connected to Suzen, your swap angel. I seem to have an incorrect e-mail address. If there is anyone else tho has not received their parcels yet, please get in touch with me ( I have not heard from my two swap buddies and am wondering if my parcels went astray). If anyone wishes to help out and get those who never received their parcels a tea towel and pot holder ( and become a swap angel) please let me know also. I would like to close this swap up and then start thinking about the next swap.
Hello all- just dropped in to remind everyone about finishing up the swap. We seem to have two missing swap buddies:
Sandra Tolley and
Janet Anderson. Hopefully this will jog their memories and they will contact their swap buddies. I have also been a bit late in sending mine out due to illness in my family- sigh and bah humbug
:( . I have just received the lovely parcels from my swap buddies, both of whom I will be contacting today. I have set up a group flickr account for this swap. Each of you may post and tag your own photos on the site since I seem to have one of those love/ hate relationships with flickr (it regularly eats my photos and makes them disapear into lost internet land). Everyone will be able to click on this hyperlink and then to post and tag their own photos , and I will post the few photos that I have received (if anyone has problems just contact me at cdetroyes at yahoo dot com)

Rose and I (Sharon) would like to remind all the ladies who are in the dishtowel and hot pad swap that the deadline is Saturday, April 25. I know that Saturdays are busy family days and that some of you may not get to the Post Office until early in the next week. That usually happens and so do not worry about it. Just let your swap buddy know that you are posting a bit late. I have heard already from some of you who have posted and some of you who will be a few days late and I would like to thank you for letting us know; when you touch base with either Rose or myself it really helps us to keep up-to-date with the swappers! I hope everyone has enjoyed this swap and would love to hear from you with ideas for our next swap.
Hello ladies. Start your creative engines now as we are happy to report that all swappers have made contact with their swap buddies and the swap is off and running! This is the first swap in a very long time and we look forward to seeing everyone's work! Sharon and Rose
