Goodbye to a good friend

This photo was taken when I visited Rose in hospital a few weeks ago.

It is with great sadness that I tell you that our friend Rose Marshall died early this morning. Rose was a much loved admin on our forum and a friend to thousands. We will miss her. Rest in peace, Rose.

    Ah, Rose. I pray she's resting in the arms of God tonight. I pray comfort for her family and loved ones. May God bless you, Rhonda, for being such a wonderful friend to her. I am sure your visits and caring meant a lot. It is the simple contacts in life that touch the souls of so many; a card, a phone call, a visit, just to let someone know you care. Once again, the simple life is best.

    So sorry for the loss of your dear Rose; may she rest in peace now. Your latest emailed newsletter has a second link about dehydrating oregano and mint in the oven which is not coming through completely - only the right-side of the blog is showing and not the subject matter.

    So sad to hear this news. Rhonda, to you, the forum and Rose's family and many friends, my heart hurts, but I agree with Cate, Rose is in God's loving embrace. Please pray for my dear friend, Louise, who is dying from cancer. I spent time with her yesterday and she is a woman of deep faith. It is so hard when we lose these precious friends.     Rose was so special to me. I live in the states. She used to read my blog. When my daughter was born six years ago (yesterday), Rose knitted a little pair of booties and sweater and mailed them to me, along with a special book for my son. She was lovely. I knew she was battling cancer, but hadn't heard how she was doing in some time.

    My heart is broken.
