Thank you for your visits this week and for your comments. The comments create a point of interest for me, help me build up a picture of you and they remind me that we're all in this together. Enjoy your weekend, friends. I'll see you on Monday.
If you're a new knitter, treat yourself to Fringe Association's Beginning to Knit series.
And, hot off the press, if you're already knitting and want to go to the next level - Pullovers for first-timers or, an Introduction to sweater construction. Also from Fringe Association.

Oh, thank you for the Joel Salatin video link! It backs our opinion on how we should work our farm when we get one.
ReplyDeleteHave lovely weekend Rhonda. I am going to attempt some preserving this weekend so I appreciate your posts on this topic. Cheers, Tanya
ReplyDeleteOh Rhonda I just read the Madman Knitting post and loved it - had a good laugh. I really thought they would give him a hard time!! All the comments were good too.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
I'm pleased you liked it, MaryJo. I enjoyed it too. I'll be going back there for sure.
DeleteDear Rhonda,
ReplyDeleteIt has been a while, but I hope to be back to read all of your daily posts. The reason for me to take some months of of blogging: in a split second, with no reasons at all and without any warning signs, my husband decided to leave me and my kids alone and left our so well known life. One day you think you are save and loved, the next day you are set aside like garbage on the street.
It's been eight months now, me and my kids are moved to our own apartment and we are living from alimony and social assistance. Not a lot money, so now I even have to go more down to earth as I already did. But I will manage! Thanks to you and your Down to Earth book <3
I hope this small message wil provide other woman some sight of how your life can be changed in (really) one minute and hope we will know how important it is to take care of your family, but also for yourself. You never know if or when life brings you the lemons.
I love to send you all the love from Holland and I hope to be back soon xx
Monique
Oh no! Monique, I'm so sad to read your news. What a shock for you and the children. I hope you'll be back on your feet soon. Sending you warm hugs and love. I'll be thinking of you. xx

DeleteI enjoy your blog so much! I especially enjoy the "week-end reading" and the links you share. I am now making my own laundry soap and fabric softener. I look forward to your blog and your pictures and ideas! Thank-you and God bless! Jo
ReplyDeleteThank you for those knitting links! I do love knitting and recently have knitted some scarves from alpaca wool. I would like to tackle something a bit harder so I will be starting a sweater once I get some new wool! Maybe I should stop being lazy and get the spinner out, my parents have a cream coloured alpaca and too many sheep to count. It's just finding the time :)
ReplyDeleteHi Rhonda,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for including me in your weekend reading list! Blogging is a lot of work but also a lot of fun and the best part is getting to interact with people from all over the world. Thank you for helping to make that happen.
