FROM OUR MOB - from the comments in the past week
The weather is starting to change here - going from cold to cool; soon it will be warm again. I hope you're enjoying your season and that whatever you do this weekend, you do it with those you love. Have a lovely weekend. I'll see you next week. ♥
Rhonda I'm trying to find your recipe for homemade dog food. Did you not used to have a search bar on your blog where we could type in what we were looking for? In either case I can't find either one so could you point me in the right direction.
ReplyDeleteLove your blog and keep up the awesome wisdom that you share with us each day!
I forgot to put the search box up again. Thanks for the reminder, Laurie.

I am so honored that you featured my blog today! Sad to say, I have been negligent in keeping it up! Will make a better effort now. Thank you so much!
ReplyDeleteHi Rhonda, Lovely to have you back! Such a great inspiration! Loved catching up on this weeks blogs, especially loved the 'Life satisfaction and constant contentment', thank you. Your blog has been an inspiration to me these last few months while recovering from 'burnout', depression & low confidence -- you 'ooze' a quiet gentleness & contentment which has had a calming & building confidence affect on my life.
ReplyDeleteNot sure if I OK to do this (I guess you'll edit if not allowed) but for those that don't get to visit Jinger's blog "I like to make things" I thought this quote sums up what Rhonda & we all are aiming for:-
MY SYMPHONY - by William Henry Channing
To live content with small means;
to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion;
to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not rich;
to listen to stars and birds, babes and sages, with open heart;
to study hard;
to think quietly, act frankly, talk gently, await occasions, hurry never;
in a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common -- this is my symphony.

Hi Rhonda,
ReplyDeleteThank you for puting my blog on your weekend list - I had quite the surprise and felt very honoured. I've 'met' some lovely people because of it.
Have a great week,
warm wishes, Rachael
Thanks for your link to the marmalade recipe, Rhonda! I used it this weekend with cumquats and it was excellent -- much less trouble than doing it the traditional way. A bit messy getting the pips out but we didn't mind! A great tasting marmalade at the end, set well too.
ReplyDeleteBlessings! Kelly
Thanks for the tomato recipe link! I never thought of a tomato and beet salad before. Can't wait to try it!
