Happy Australia Day to all my fellow Australians! We're all lucky to live in this great country. I hope you have the chance to celebrate that today.
Here is a little extra weekend reading to help brighten your day. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Lovely story. Happy Australia Day to you and Hanno too. Passata, yoghurt and homebrew beer (how very Australian!!) happening in my kitchen today, hopefully with some cricket on the telly. Can't think of a better way to celebrate living in this great country!
ReplyDeleteHappy Australia Day to you and Hanno! I totally agrree that we are very lucky to live in this beautiful country, never taken for granted!

Happy Australia Day to you too, Rhonda. You are truely an inspiration. Thank you for your lovely comments about Mark and I. We were both really moved by what you said. Thanks also for linking back to the story. I know there are so many people out there who are keen to give children back their childhood!
ReplyDeleteHappy Australia Day to you, Hanno & all my fellow Aussie DTE'ers. Today as I reflect on what it means to live in this great country, I am reminded by your link on the beautiful birthday story, just what an enormous responsibility we have to future generations, to preserve & improve what it is that makes this country one of the greatest & most diversely beautiful places on earth. It's quite fitting that Mother Nature has put on a show for us....... "I love a sunburnt country, a land of sweeping plains, of ragged mountain ranges, of drought and flooding rains".
ReplyDeleteHappy Australia Day to you, Rhonda!
ReplyDeleteHappy Australia Day to you Rhonda and Hanno and to all in the land down under from your friend in frozen Canada! Makes me long for Canada Day on July 1st. LOL!
ReplyDeleteHappy Australia day to you too, all the best.
ReplyDeleteMerle.....
Happy Australia Day to you! Australia is one country that I someday certainly hope to visit!

That story was so beautiful, Rhonda. Thank you for sharing the link.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are getting enough rain for your garden - but not enough to do any damage.
It's wild down here. Stay safe.
