I must admit it has been a pretty hectic week for me -- I haven't even gotten around to reading the guest post from Kate.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5089828552519076506.post-15605207131647417212014-02-28T09:33:48.555+10:002014-02-28T09:33:48.555+10:00Hi Deb, I'm planting up my toilet rolls this w...Hi Deb, I'm planting up my toilet rolls this weekend. I like to use them for flowers. I can sprinkle the seeds over the top and then plant deep rooted clumps of flowers. I think companion planting is addressed in Linda's book. We planted our vege seeds a few weeks ago & many of them have taken off very well, the beans & peas have been planted now, very easily I might add, cause we raised the seeds in the empty toilet rolls & as these break down so well we just put them straight into the ground. I am interested in the permaculture book by Linda Woodrow, can you tell me though if she includes info re companion planting as well,
thanks Rhonda, hope you & Hanno have a nice weekend,
Deb M Deb Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18081894575969587442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5089828552519076506.post-85667157578462366072014-02-28T08:48:48.138+10:002014-02-28T08:48:48.138+10:00Lovely reading for the weekend as always, Rhonda. ...Lovely reading for the weekend as always, Rhonda. I always enjoy your blog posts even if I don't have time to comment and often intend to come back later and then forget. I often print them out for future reference like your seed raising and soap making tips. Barry and I went to Joe's Connected Garden (an open garden) they mentioned the 'The Seed Collection' site so after looking through this site and ordering, I have been enjoying putting seeds into seed tray and this time making note of how many Ive planted (I get a little carried away with raising seeds) ... our Gloria (chookie) died yesterday .. she was a loner and always had her own private yard ...sad as it may be we are looking forward to getting more chooks to take her home over. Have a lovely weekend. I've been a regular reader for about a year, including many but not even close to all of your archives. I've bookmarked many of your most pertinent-to-me posts during that time, but I want to let you know that I've bookmarked practically every post you've written in 2014. As far as inspiring and instructing me, you are on an absolute roll, and that bar was already set very high. Thank you thank you for all that you put into this blog!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5089828552519076506.post-91703999528222856652014-02-28T05:57:32.470+10:002014-02-28T05:57:32.470+10:00Friday already!
