They take no time to make and I use No 12 knitting needles and then transfer to toothpicks. Saw the idea in a Grass Roots magazine and have made a few myself, very easy. Just knit a few rows and then increase 5 stitches at the beginning of the next 2 rows, knit another couple of rows and then transfer to the tooth picks as per your card.
