Instead, we bought a heating pad to slip inside the big woolly pillow in the living room. He's old, sick, and skinny from illness, and he lived on that warm pillow all winter! Our healthy, younger cat happily snuggled into that pillow with him. :-)Anne Marie@Married to the Empirehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16600919522369171555noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5089828552519076506.post-50976271560589121032010-07-13T10:12:01.875+10:002010-07-13T10:12:01.875+10:00Alice looks very sweet and toasty in that jacket. ...Alice looks very sweet and toasty in that jacket. I love the names of your towns in Australia. I suppose we all have our quaint names and characteristics. My husband and I laugh when "movie stars" names come up because we hardly know any of them! It has been a good weekend for us. Seems most of it was spent helping others. You know I am happy that we are able to do so. I saw a very large sign many years ago in front of a very rustic little house. It said "live simply, so that others might simply live" I am proud of the decisions that DH and I make. Instead of spending every penny we make on "stuff" we put back and save a bit. Then when needs arise and the "blessing of opportunity" comes round we are able to help others. So important in these current times we are in. Two sacks of groceries to a needy family and a full gas tank for a single working mother are such a blessing to us to be able to give. I thank God for the opportunity. One day I hope to be able to volunteer as you do. I will pray for Sharon and that your week is joyful.
