Interesting forum threads on paying off debt and craft work

There is a lot of saving going on over at our forum with the Clear the Card Challenge. Many people have joined the challenge which can be to pay off credit card debt or any other small debt you have. It's always motivating when you do one of these challenges with other people. You pick up tips, or share yours, and what seemed to be impossible before, happens - the debt is paid off. It's never too late to join in.

Another thread that caught my eye is Knitting and Crochet Work, May 2014 where members are talking, and showing, their current knitting and crochet projects. There's some nice work there. It might be just the thing you need to get you started. If you're not experienced, Chel and Damac are there to help and give advice.

I hope you're enjoying your weekend. :- )

  4. Hi Rhonda, I thought it might be interesting to have a look at the debt challenge - I'm not normally one for forums due to time restraints, but thought it would be worth taking a look - unfortunately I found I could not view any topics without having to go through the registration process first - so decided on this occasion, I guess it might be worth doing - but then I had to await an email - got that, then had to go visit the URL it sent me to - did that, noting I would not be able to post replies until a second email would be sent - unfortunately I still get the message - You are not authorised to view this content - so, after a couple of hours of back and forth between sites & waiting etc, I'm kinda wondering if I'm over it. Please understand that I am not sitting here shouting abuse at you, but hopefully giving you some constructive feedback since without the knowledge you are unable to do anything about it (if you even can I guess). I would say I'm a relatively regular blog reader of yours and have at times mentioned your blog on one of mine, but don't always leave messages, so I do hope you receive this in a positive way. Wishing you a lovely Mothers Day,
    Sharm

    1. Hi Sharm, thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it. I just checked and there are no new members waiting, so I guess you've been admitted. I just did a search for "sharmayne" and "sharm" but neither of them gave me anything. Please email me with your user name and I'll see what I can do.

  5. I'm sorry to hear some of you have had some problems in joining the forum and can not speak highly enough of the benefit of the forum & how friendly it is. I have been a forum member for over a year now & visit everyday. My life has grown so much all for the better & would not be living the life we are today if not for the support, encouragement & friendly advice from the other member. Rhonda you do an awesome job here on the blog & the forum is the most amazing way to connect with other like minded people. It's like being surround by all your best friends in one place

  6. “Clear the card challenge” and “Knitting and Crochet Work, May 2014” are really very interesting topics! Everyone can learn a lot of things from all the other members, especially in clearing out debts. I’m sure a lot of people will get hooked, as many of us have an experience in having debts. It’s not an easy journey, but joining forums like this can be very helpful; not only in getting personal advices and tips, but for emotional comfort as well. Thanks for sharing.
